Well, to begin, I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to a new year and semester.

A few things to report:

1st - The Cycling Club constitution passed, therefore we are now legit! AWESOME!

2nd - The spring road race schedule currently looks like this:

Saturday 22-Mar-08 Pitt*** Sunday 23-Mar-08 CMU*** (Easter) ***Combined ECCC/MWCCC race hosted by ECCC clubs on Easter weekend. MWCCC riders will be eligible for to score conference points, unlike at other non-MWCCC events where points will not count to MWCCC rankings.

3rd - If you would like to order a jersey, long sleeve or short sleeve, contact me by January 29th if interested, then I will contact you and tell you the price. (Price is dependent upon how many pieces are being ordered: The price will be between $89 - $61 for short sleeve, price dependent upon how many people order a jersey, for long sleeve the price will be between $104 - $76, again, price being dependent upon how many people order.)

Also, we have a blog (http://ipfwcycling.blogspot.com/), and news about scheduled rides and other pertinent info will be posted there, and also emailed. This email focused mainly on racing, but when the weather gets nicer, recreational, more leisurely type rides will be scheduled.

Oh, if you attempt to buy a collegiate license, you won't be able to quite yet since I just submitted the papers recently. When you attempt to purchase a collegiate liscence, you are prompted to choose a school I believe. When this changes, I'll be sure to send out an email/post here...so far I think just Mike and I are the only ones racing...nobody else has displayed an interest. If you are interested, talk to Mike or myself.
